Chaos Or Control?

I’m a fan of Get Smart, the wacky spy show from the 60’s. Written by Buck Henry, this comedy was total zaniness. If you’ve seen the show, you know it depicted the madcap struggle between the incompetent American spy agency, Control, and the evil, but inept, organization, Chaos.

If you’re a business owner, you face similar challenges! As I meet business owners, I am always struck with how little formal training they have in business. Experts in their field and industry but unversed in business concepts.

At ActionCOACH, we introduce business owners to the 6 Steps of Developing a Business, taking a business from start up to standalone business allowing the owner to leave day to day operations. The first step in this journey is Mastery, which is all about moving a business from chaos to control.

How do you know if your business needs help in the Mastery area? These are the symptoms:

Working or Planning on Weekends
Owner Putting In Excessive Hours
Erratic Revenue
No “Peace” of Mind
“Why Bother” Attitude
“Burn Out”
“Not Meeting My Goals”
Feast or Famine
Many one time clients

You may have some of these symptoms – if so, you need to begin to lay the foundation for your business to move out of chaos to a controlled environment where you know what is happening in all areas. That way, you’ll achieve Peace of Mind.

Would you like to discuss your Business Peace Of Mind? I’ll buy the coffee if you bring the topic!
